Creative inspiration of the week

It's almost Labour Day! Where the heck did the summer go?

Here's some fun and creative things to take us into the long weekend. A less techy list this week, perhaps because my brain is already a bit in vacation mode.

My husband's absolute favourite food is burritos. I know that whenever I go out-of-town, one of his meals will involve one of these delicious Mexican creations. So when I saw this awesome post from Oh My Veggies, I knew it would come in handy. And who doesn't like a metalhead squirrel? I mean, come on now!

Absolutely love this post with seven fantastic tips for taking more creative smartphone photos. I have to test out that last trick sometime soon!

Urban parents! Have your kids wanted a treehouse, but there is no tree in your yard to use for such a task? You can make a treehouse in the house instead! Ok, so it's probably a stretch for many households, but the idea is really cute. I know I would have loved this when I was 5.

There have been a number of videos or photo sets taken of the Aurora Borealis or Aurora Australis from the International Space Station over the last few years, but this new one taken back in July is as breathtaking as ever. And we've also got this amazing footage taken in northern Canada by a Korean photographer. We live on a beautiful planet.

Have a happy, safe, and beautiful Labour Day weekend!
